Just as each Sunday calls us to recall Christ’s Resurrection on the first Easter Sunday, so too does each Friday traditionally invite us to remember His Passion on the first Good Friday.

For many years, Catholics traditionally abstained from meat on Fridays, a practice that is now strictly observed on the Fridays of Lent.

In recognition of those who continue to observe this tradition, our cafeteria will maintain meatless Fridays throughout the school year.

ICE CREAM:

On days that Saint Augustine School has a
2 HOUR DELAYED OPENING
or an EARLY DISMISSAL
the cafeteria will offer a special “ Limited Menu”, consisting of either Pasta with Butter (no sauce) or Bagels. 


On days that Saint Augustine School has a 3 hour delayed opening, the cafeteria will NOT SERVE lunch. Children must BRING LUNCH FROM HOME when there is a 3 hour delayed opening.
